The much-touted Electric Vehicle EV revolution is taking wings on a large scale. Medium Small and Micro Enterprise MSME s have braced the new change in the business ecosystem post-Covid 19.
There have been fantastic success stories of the Covid 19 period. But The Success story of “TekWatt from Microteknik Ambala” in the EV vertical is a testimonial to the adage “When the going gets tough the tough get going”.
“Covid 19 definitely was a disruption in our business history of Microteknik, a five-decade pedigree enterprise,” says Vikas Jain the Technocrat CEO of the Ambala based Microteknik Group of Companies. It was a disruption in the sense the conventional business model took a severe beating. It was the time to change gears and innovate.
That’s precisely what we have done now. The Government of India initiatives to roll out
industry-friendly policies in different verticals have ushered new vistas for MSME.
We, at Microeknik, have vast experience in the Renewable and Clean Energy verticals it was the need of the hour to adopt as well as integrate the new policies.
One such game-changing policy is the Electric Vehicle EV Policy and the related verticals.
Being an Exports oriented company, for us at Microteknik Ambala, the EV policy was hard to ignore.
Given the sheer size of the Indian automotive sector especially the Two three-wheelers is a fantastic market to tap. The staggering rise in the cost of petrol and diesel, the average spend of Indian middle-class household in terms of the commuting bill is one of the primary reasons that we decided to pitch in with a product that would not only help in reducing the transport bills but also create a stronghold in Clean energy initiatives.
With this background, we at Microteknik set up a new facility spread over 60000 square feet Campus at Cantonment Region in Ambala. This new facility has been set up exclusively for the manufacture of EV and world-class Lithium Batteries.
The entire range of products is manufactured at the state of art facilities at our Campus.
We are extremely delighted at the tremendous response to our product range and it is gratifying to get global enquiries.
We have top-notch industries from different verticals who have shown interest in bulk, annual contracts for our world-class Lithium-Ion batteries.
Needless to say, our stringent QC Quality Control, Production Management and the entire Microteknik team have contributed immensely in developing a World-Class state of Art Energy Solution for the millennial world.
It’s heartening to create quality products. Yes, it is more gratifying to create jobs for the local talents around.
In a real sense, we have upgraded the skills of local educated youngsters in the region.
We thank the Government of India for the just in time roll of EV Policy that has changed the fortune of an MSME like us.
It is important that a business person adapts to the dynamic changes of the Business world more so in times of the catastrophic pandemic. It’s vital to be in sync with the change in the Government policies to be a successful business enterprise.
We, at MicroTeknik Ambala, are proud to have re-engineered our business model. I am sure it’s a classic case of ” When the going gets tough the tough get Going ” says Mr Vikas Jain, the successful MSME Technocrat.
Indian business community has been alive with great success stories post-Covid 19.
One need to look around for inspiration.
Given the slew of new Industrial Policies by NITI Ayog New Initiatives For Transforming India, Good days are back again in the Indian MSME sector.
