Technology helping people to combat Covid – 19: PM
New Delhi,11 May(HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the technology is helping many in the efforts to make free from COVID -19.
He said that the technology has been playing a vital role in this regard. The PM’s comments came on the National Technology Day while lauding the efforts being made by doctors, engineers and scientists in helping people to combat the deadly coronavirus.
In a tweet, Narendra Modi said, “Today, technology is helping many in the efforts to make the world free from COVID-19. I salute all those at the forefront of research and innovation on way to defeat Coronavirus. May we keep harnessing technology in order to create a healthier and better planet.
In another tweet, giving reference to the first nuclear test that was carried out in Pokhran on 11 May 1998, the Prime Minister said that the nation would always salute those who have been leveraging technology to bring a positive difference in the lives of others.
“On National Technology Day, our nation salutes all those who are leveraging technology to bring a positive difference in the lives of others. We remember the exceptional achievement of our scientists on this day in 1998. It was a landmark moment in India’s history,” tweeted PM.
