Tech Mahindra and IIT Kanpur tie up for Cyber Security Research
New Delhi, 10 June(HS): Major Information Technology company Tech Mahindra and IIT Kanpur have come together for working closely in the area of cyber security concerns. For this, they have signed Memorandum of Understanding for carrying out joint research in this field.
The Global Head of Cyber Security of Tech Mahindra stated that they aim to collaborate and jointly create better research based solutions in cyber security through this partnership. The company will provide industry exposure to the students of IIT to develop an environment of automation and bring digital resilience in national cyber infrastructure.
While Abhay Karandikar, Director of IIT Kanpur said that novel indigenous technologies will be developed in cyber security through this collaboration. Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department of IIT, SK Shukla hopes that this collaboration will prove to be a role model for industry-academia partnership.
