Synthetic Athlete Track at Rajendra Stadium at the cost of 6.98 crores

Chapra,11 April, 2021 (HS) Rajendra stadium at Chapra will soon have a complete face lift and developed as per the international standard . Synthetic athlete track at the cost of 6.98 crores would be laid. Saran MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy held a  meeting with Ravi Mittal, ministry of secretary of youth and sports and submitted a proposal regarding this. Rudy said that DM Saran has submitted a proposal t this effect which was approved by the government and sent to youth and sports ministry, government of India. It was accepted here. He said that the stadium is after the name of the first president of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad and opportunities for aspiring sportsmen would galore after the complete face lift of the stadium. Events of inter national level could be held here and local youth  will benefit as sports  trainers would be regularly invited here. He added that a multi purpose Indoor Hall at the cost of 6.72 crore would also be constructed.
