Sydney Test: Australia scored 166/2 at stumps on day- 1

New Delhi, January 07 (HS). Australia scored 166 for the loss of 2 wickets at the end of the first day of the third Test match against India. Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith are unbeaten on 67 and 31 respectively.
Earlier, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. After this, rain disrupted the match. Due to rain, only 7.1 overs have been played in the morning session. In these overs, Australia scored 21 runs losing 1 wicket.
Earlier, Will Pucovski and David Warner came to open the innings for Australia. Australia did not have a good start and on the total of 6 runs in the fourth over, Mohammad Siraj gave the first blow to Australia by dismissing David Warner. Cheteshwar Pujara caught Warner in slip for a personal score of 5 runs. In the 35th over, Navdeep Saini gave India the second success by dismissing Pucovski for a total score of 106. Pukowski scored 62 runs.
 After this, Labuschagne and  Smith played the game well, taking Australia’s score to 150. Both have so far shared a 60-run partnership for the third wicket. Navdeep Saini and Mohammad Siraj took 1–1 wickets for India.
