Swachha Chapra Abhiyan to plant 25000 saplings

Chapra,1 July (HS): In a meeting organised by Swachha Chapra Abhiyan at District Board Hall, speakers stressed the need on safe guarding environment by planting of saplings and making people aware of its importance.

Presiding over the meeting Advocate Yashvant Singh said that we have to plant more saplings if we wish to sustain the cosmos, and ultimately ourselves and the coming future. Chairperson of the Board Meena Arun allowed to identify the land of the Board where the saplings would be planted.and assured all help in this campaign.
MLC Virendra Narayan Yadav shared his experience of Sikkim state environment and said that without trees, life become life less. Kashmira Singh, Swyam Prakash, Manohar Manv, Saket Singh and others also spoke and underlined the importance of water harvesting.
Yashvant Singh said that 25,000 saplings would be planted throughout the district and help from people, non government organisations would be sought to achieve this. Efforts of members of this Abhiyan would certainly bore fruits and we would be able to face the coming generation. He vowed that ‘Likhunga Darakht Har Beej Par, Ye Mera Vada Hai, Kuchh Bhi Hoga Nahi Jaya, Ye Mera Vada Hai’ (I would see that each seed sprouts into a big tree, and also ensure that no seed would go to waste).
