Super- 30 founder Anand Kumar ordered to pay Rs.50,000 as compensation

Guwahati, Nov 28 (HS): Anand Kumar of Super-30 did not appear in the Gauhati High Court on 26 November so the Guwahati High Court ordered Anand Kumar to pay a compensation of 10-10 thousand rupees i.e. 50 thousand rupees to the five students and their parents. IIT Guwahati students Avinash Boro, Bikash Das, Manjeet Dalai and Dhaniram Tau had filed PLI in Gauhati High Court in September 2018. He accused Anand Kumar of fraud.

However, Kumar was relieved after hearing on the PIL of four students of IIT Guwahati on Thursday in Gauhati High Court. The complainant withdrew the case.

After exiting the Gauhati High Court premises, Anand Kumar, the founder of Super- 30 said that I am very happy that I got justice today. A fake case was filed against me. I ever took a penny from Guwahati, Government of India, State Government or any private agency.

He said that a fake case was also filed against me in Patna. Inspired by some people of Bihar, students here had filed a case against me. Whatever I am today, I am on my own. I teach thirty children in Super- 30. Even then, fake allegations were made against me. My whole family is in danger of life. Last year in the month of December 22, someone tried to kill my brother Arnav Kumar in a road accident. My life is in danger Because of this, the Bihar government has given me four bodyguards. I am very happy with the justice the court has given me.

He said, I want people to support me mentally. I do not need money. I also want to thank the media persons, who stayed with me even in this situation and brought out every news that was raised on me in front of the public.

He was also charged with these students that the Super 30 facilities in the JEE 2018, Kumar had claimed 30 of the 26 students of the IIT entrance exam. However, he has not yet revealed the names of these 26 students. The students had alleged that Anand Kumar had also mixed in the Super- 30 results.

Students said in their petition that Anand Kumar enrolls poor students from several states including Assam in the Ramanujam School of Mathematics in the name of preparing for the free IIT entrance exam. From 33 thousand rupees fee is charged. In this case, the court said that it looks like a criminal case. If the complainant wishes, he can file a case in Patna High Court.
