Washington, Jan 04 (HS): US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran’s top commander Qasem Soleimani, killed in the US drone attack, had a role in creating ‘terrorist conspiracies in New Delhi and London’. Trump defended the decision to attack Sulemani and said that ‘the reign of terrorism is over’.

General Sulaimani was the head of Iran’s al-Quds force. He was killed in a US drone attack on his convoy that left the Baghdad International Airport on Friday. Trump told that “Several rocket attacks were targeted in the US targeting Iraq, killing one American and seriously injuring four US soldiers.”

Apart from this, a violent attack on our embassy in Baghdad was carried out on the orders of Sulemani. He said, ‘Sulaimani killed innocent people with his evil intentions and also played a role in a conspiracy for terrorist attacks even in New Delhi and London. Today we remember those who were victims of Sulaimani’s cruelty and respect him. We will find peace in it that his reign of terrorism is over now.

Trump said that Sulaimani was involved in terrorist activities to destabilize West Asia for the last 20 years. He said that America should have done what it did on Friday and it could have saved a lot of lives. Recently, Sulaimani brutally repressed protesters in Iran.

On the increasing tensions with Iran, Trump said that the war would not start with the death of Sulaimani. He said, ‘Last night we took action to stop the war. We did not take action to start the war. They are excellent people and have an unprecedented heritage and their capabilities are unlimited. We do not want a change in governance.

At the same time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the European Union Josep Borel on Friday said that before the ‘cycle of violence gets out of control’ in Iraq, it should be stopped before that. He said in a statement that the European Union appeals to all parties involved to exercise restraint and adopt a responsible attitude on this delicate occasions.
