Strike continued for the third day in protest against the beating of the doctor

Chapra,28 June,2019 (HS) Employees and doctors at Masrak primary health centre continued their strike for the third consecutive day in protest against the beating of a doctor by Block Pramukh. Even emergency services were not provided and the patients had to return un cared. One preganant woman gave birth in the vehicle itself by which she had arrived. Many patients were dismayed over this pathetic situation. Dentist Rajiv Ranjan was beaten by the Block Pramukh Jitendra Rai over trivial issue which had left the doctor brusied and injured. He was sent to Patna for treatment. A delegation of doctors had met the DM and SP and demanded to arrest the culprit. Meanwhile police are conducting raids to nab Jitendra Rai. In a raid at his house today, police recovered  a Desi Katta and two live cartridges from his house. Lodging an FIR SHO Ratnesh Kumar Verma arrested Upendra Rai, brother of Block Pramukh, and sent him to jail.
