State Level Review on flood Preparedness

Guwahati,12 May(HS): A review meeting on state-level flood preparedness with heads of line departments was held under the chairmanship of Kumar Sanjay Krishna, Chief Secretary, Assam at Janata Bhawan today.

Amidst the pandemic situation caused by COVID 19, all departments were asked to remain alert and fully prepared to deal with any eventuality that may arise due to any impact caused by floods in the State.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary took stock of the current status of vulnerable areas and measures taken by the respective departments to mitigate it.
