Sri Sri Vishveshteerth Swamiji improving
Bengaluru, 22 December(HS): The health condition of Sri Sri Vishveshteerth Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt is improving according to the doctors of Manipal hospital where he is being treated from last three days for complications related to breathlessness.
The Seer’s condition is improving and he has been responding to the medication, told sources of Pejawar Mutt in Udupi.
Uma Bharati, former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and senior BJP leader was planning to visit Udupi along with Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and national BJP president to inquire the health of the ailing Swamiji. However, the program had to be cancelled due to prevailing law and order problems in neighboring Mangaluru(Dakshina Kannada) district.
It may be recalled here that two people died in the police firing at Mangaluru on Thursday as the protesters against the Citizen Amendment Act(CAA) became violent by vandalizing public properties and also tried to torch a police station.
Following such violent incidents curfew has been clamped in the city and the coastal city is gradually limping back to normalcy.
BS Yeddyurappa, Karnataka Chief Minister with a team of his cabinet colleagues visited Mangaluru Yesterday and held high level officers meeting to take stock of the situation.
Curfew was relaxed Yesterday afternoon from 3 to 6 pm to enable the curfew affected citizens to buy essential commodities. But it was later reimposed and is slated to continue today.
The Chief Minister also visited the Manipal hospital and met the team of doctors attending the Seer.
Prathiba Advani, daughter of Lal Krishna Advani, veteran BJP leader is said to have called the aides of Swamiji to ascertain the present health condition.
