Special Business Credit card launched by HDFC Bank and CSC for Small entrepreneurs
New Delhi, July. 16(HS): Small Business Moneyback Credit card has been launched jointly by HDFC Bank and Common Service Centres(CSC) SPV (under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology), today. This card will be issued to village level entrepreneurs and their referred customers to facilitate credit for their day-to-day business expenses.
Mr. Aditya Puri, MD, HDFC Bank and Mr. Dinesh Kumar Tyagi, CEO, CSC, launched this credit card while celebrating CSC Diwas in Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi and gave away personalised cards to some women village level entrepreneurs(VLEs) on Tuesday.
This celebration cum workshop was attended by 2000 women VLEs. The launch of the card was in line with MoU signed between HDFC Bank and CSC to offer banking products and services in remote locations and/or for underprivileged for financial inclusion.
The Common Service Centres are managed by locally skilled entrepreneurs and created by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under Digital India Programme for providing Government to Citizen and Business to Citizen services.
