“Skilling India Award 2019- Best Institute Placement” received by NAC
Telangana: Hyderabad: June 8(HS) National Academy of Construction Director General, K. Bikshapathi, received the prestigious ‘‘Skilling India Awards 2019” under the ‘Best Institute – Placement” category from ASSOCHAM India ( The Associated Chamber of Commerce & Industry of India) during India Skill Summit organised at Ranchi, Jharkand from Saryu Rai , Minister for Civil supplies , Sri C.P. Singh, Minister for Urban development & Transportation , Govt of Jharkand.
NAC is selected for this award as all the students trained in the academy during last two years were 100% placed in good positions in Construction Industry. In the past two years 7106 unemployed youth who have undergone skill development trainings in construction trades, 965 BTech Civil engineering graduates who have undergone finishing school trainings and 133 Post Graduate Diploma students of NAC have been provided placement in various construction companies.
Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Hon’ble Minister and Vice Chairman NAC expressed happiness for NAC’s accomplishment and exhorted unemployed youth in Telangana state to undergo skill development trainings in NAC as there is huge potential for jobs and career progression in construction industry.
