Six people, relatives of Sushant Singh Rajput, killed in road accident
New Delhi, 16 November (H.S): Six people of the same family were killed and four others seriously injured in a collision between a truck and a Tata Sumo on Sheikhpura-Sikandra road in Lakhisarai district in Bihar. The victims of the accident were relatives of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, said Lakhisarai SP Sushil Kumar.
The victims of the incident were returning back to the village after performing the cremation of one of their relatives Geeta Devi of Sagdaha Bhandara village in Jamui. In the accident, Geeta Devi’s husband Laljit Singh, elder son Amit Shekhar alias Nemani Singh, younger son Ramchandra Singh, daughter Baby Devi, niece Anita Devi and driver Pritam Kumar died on the spot. While four people who were seriously injured, have been admitted to Sikandra’s hospital.
The SP said that two people have been referred to PMCH, Patna in a critical condition. Police have sent the bodies to Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Five out of six people who lost their lives in the accident are said to be relatives of late film star Sushant Singh Rajput. The car driver also died along with them. One of the victims of the accident was the brother-in-law of Sushant’s brother-in-law posted as ADGP in Haryana. Two nephews and two other relatives are also among those killed.
