Six including five children died of suffocation in fire..

Ghaziabad, Dec 30 (HS): As many as six people including five children died this morning after a fire broke out in a house. The reason behind the fire is said to be a short circuit. The local police and fire tenders were rushed and the five fire tenders doused the fire in more than one hour time, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Parveen (40), Fatima (12), Sahima (10), Ratia (8), Son Azim (7) and Abdul (5). The incident took place at a building situated at the Hazipur Maulana Azad colony at Loni border. Police are further investigating into the matter which revealed that they all died of suffocation that occurred due to fire smoke. Police said that on Sunday night, while Parveen was sleeping with her five nephews, a fire broke out due to a short circuit in the fridge.
It further informed that Rashid and Asif were living in a house in the said premises. Their other brother Yusuf lives in the village in Meerut whose wife Parveen came to meet them in Ghaziabad. When the incident took place, both the brothers had gone to their village in Meerut, police said. The bodies have been sent to postmortem.
