Simona Halep donating money to pay for medical equipment related to the COVID-19
New Delhi, March 18 (HS): Simona Halep, the world’s number two tennis player, said she is donating money to pay for medical equipment related to the Coronavirus in her country Romania.
Giving a message on her Facebook page, she said that she helped in hospitals in Bucharest and Constanta and also inspired people to stay isolated.
Simona wrote, “Unfortunately, we are all going through a difficult time and we would not have imagined it in the last few months.”
“On the other hand, this is a good opportunity to show how responsible we are for our lives,” she added.
She also said, “All of us should strictly follow all the laws and all should contribute themselves to this problem.”
There have been 200 cases of Coronavirus infection in Romania so far, but no one has died till now.
