‘Shaheen Bagh’ from Delhi to Lucknow, protesters are continue for 36 days..

New Delhi, Jan 20 (HS): Protests are continuing in many parts of the country against the Citizenship Amendment Act. In Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, the women-led protests have been going on for the last 36 days. After the High Court order, Delhi Police tried to talk to the protesters, but no way could be found.

Demonstrations started from Shaheen Bagh in Delhi are spreading in many parts of the country and in many cities like Lucknow,  protests against CAA, NRC is now for over a month in Shaheen Bagh. Most women are involved in this protest, although some politicians and celebrities have reached there to address

Demonstrations are being held by the local people and  Kalindi Kunj road from Delhi to Noida is closed due to sit in by locals inconveniencing thousands of people who commute daily. Right now people have to pass through DND Expressway.

On the lines of Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, the opposition to CAA is widespread in other parts of the country. In Lucknow, Patna and Allahabad too, women are now hitting the streets against this law. For the last two days, a large number of women have been protesting against the CAA, NRC in Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow.

UP Police had seized the blankets of protesters in Lucknow to prevent holding unruly assembly. Today, a march will be taken out by many political and voluntary organizations in protest against CAA, NRC in different parts of the country.

In Delhi, many organizations will organize a march together, while there are preparations for a similar march in other cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Pune.
