Serve people keeping aside your differences: Nadda to Goa CM
New Delhi, 14 May (HS): Bharatiya Janata Party President J.P. Nadda Friday has asked Goa’s Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane to keep aside their differences and focus on controlling the Covid pandemic in the state.
Amid the worsening situation in Goa, Sawant and Rane developed some differences over Covid management. Sources in Delhi BJP headquarter said that the differences between the two leaders could harm the party as Assembly polls in the State are scheduled to take place in first quarter of the next year.
Sources in the party further said that party president Nadda advised both the leaders loud and clearly to work for controlling the situation to save lives of people due to Covid leaving aside their differences. He reiterated that their only priority is to work for Goa people and everything coming in the way of serving the people must be kept aside. He further asked them to coordinate without creating any controversy.
The sources said that Nadda asked the leaders that they should talk less and work more. The differences between Sawant and Rane came out in the open over Goa’s Covid management. The differences between the two deepened after the death of Covid patients at the Goa Medical College, a state government managed health facility.
