Salzburg beat Austria Lustenau 5–0 in Austria Cup final
Klagenfurt, May 30 (HS): Salzburg defeated Austria Lustenau 5–0 on Friday in the final of the Austrian Cup, which resumed after being affected by Coronavirus.
The final match played at the Klagenfurt ground was held without an audience, where Salzburg started to hold the match, scoring two superb goals in the first half.
Dominic Szabozlai gave Salzburg a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute with a free kick. Following which, Dominic Strumber of Lustenau put the ball in his own goal post two minutes later to give the opposing team a 2–0 lead.
Subsequently, Noah Okafor scored the third goal for the team, taking advantage of poor marking. Majid Ashimaru and Seiko Koita scored the fourth and fifth goals respectively for the team.
In the past nine seasons, Salzburg won the competition for the seventh time.
