RSS hosts grand welcome for Guru Nanak procession
On the 555th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak, a grand procession took place, receiving a warm welcome at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) provincial office, Jagriti Mandal. Women’s groups performed inspiring kirtans, highlighting Guru Nanak’s life and teachings.
Toplal Verma, Provincial Sanghchalak of RSS, addressed the gathering. He emphasized that Guru Nanak devoted his life to protecting Hinduism and the nation. “Guru Nanak is a true son of Mother India,” Verma declared, urging society to draw inspiration from his life and work for the nation’s welfare.
During the event, RSS volunteers honored the Palki Sahib by offering flowers and praying for his blessings. Additionally, Narayan Namdev sang the song “Pita Varya Te Lal Charo Vare O Hindu Teri Shaan” during the Prabhat Pheri.
The program saw a large presence of RSS workers and social figures, including senior pracharak Shantaram Sarraf, state caretaker Chandrashekhar Dewangan, state pracharak Abhay Ram Verma, and co-state pracharak Narayan Namdev. Other notable attendees included co-state prachar pramukh Sanjay Tiwari, metropolitan Sanghchalak Ghanshyam Birla, and community leaders Sajjan Singh, Jagir Singh, Kulwinder Singh, and Gyani Singh.
