Bengaluru, Feb 3 (HS): “India has emerged as one of the foremost countries of the world as a hub for Aerospace and Defence.” Make in India initiative to Make for the World ” journey has been phenomenal. Aero India 2021 edition is an exemplary show of converting challenges to opportunities. The 13th Edition a hybrid Airshow is about showcasing the clinical approach of Government of India in executing the policies of Defence Production, Aerospace,( MRO) Maintenance , Repair Overhaul sectors . While restricting the imports of Defence needs, our government lead by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has taken the giant step in self reliance. LCA , from being a prototype model few years ago, is now ready to be manufactured in India.
HAL bagging the order for over Rs 48,000 Cr to manufacture and supply to Indian Air Force is ample proof of Indian Capabilities. Our nation is set to be one of the safest best A & D , Aerospace and Defence hub of the millennial world. Its a fantastic team work of Government of Karnataka lead by Chief Minister BS Yedurappa.
 This hybrid event is a statement to the World about the spirit of the Nation and full credit to the policy makers , the state and private agencies Involved in this mega event ” said Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh at the official launch of 13th edition of Aero India 2021 at Yelahaka Airforce Station Bengaluru. ” Living up to the challenges has been the true spirit of Karnataka and it’s the team work that has helped us in achieving our Goals ” added BS Yedyurappa.
 The formal inaugural was followed by spectacular show of Tejas, Surya Kiran HAL ALH and host of other military aircrafts from the Indian Air Force including the newly inducted Raffles Fighter Jets . Hosting a series of Seminars Conferences B2B curated meets , the USP of this edition is the Virtual conferences . Spread over theme based Exhibition halls to showcase and explore businees collaboration, Aero India 2021 , is off to a rousing start. The Airshow though scaled down due to the Covid 19, remains to be one of the most popular highly acclaimed Airshows of the world rightfully lives up to it’s legacy in it’s 13th Edition too.
