Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand over certificates to the beneficiaries of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana during the event. He will also distribute loans to 18 beneficiaries from 18 trades under the scheme. To mark one year of progress, he will release a commemorative postage stamp for the Vishwakarma initiative.

Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Amravati. This park, covering 1,000 acres, is being developed by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).

The government has approved seven PM MITRA parks to boost the textile industry. The Amravati park is a major step in turning India into a global hub for textile manufacturing and exports. It will help build top-notch industrial infrastructure and attract large-scale investments, including foreign direct investment (FDI).

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi will launch the “Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center” scheme by the Maharashtra government. This initiative will establish skill development centers in well-known colleges across the state.

These centers will provide training to youth aged 15 to 45. Each year, about 1,50,000 young people will receive free skill development training.

On the same occasion, Modi will introduce the “Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Mahila Startup Yojana.” This scheme will support women-led startups in Maharashtra during their early stages. It will offer financial assistance of up to Rs 25 lakh. The program will reserve 25 percent of its funds for women from backward classes and economically weaker sections.

The scheme aims to help women-led startups become self-reliant and independent, fostering entrepreneurship and growth among women in the state.
