President Murmu will worship at Lord Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain today
President Droupadi Murmu will visit the famous Jyotirlinga Lord Mahakaleshwar temple today. This visit marks the final day of her two-day stay in Madhya Pradesh. During her visit, the President will perform the Bhoomi Pujan for the Ujjain-Indore Six Lane Road and honor Safai Mitras at a special event in Dhendia village.
Her schedule includes interacting with Safai Mitras at 10:10 am at Hotel Rudraksh in Dhendia, Ujjain. She will also visit an exhibition related to the Swachhta Pakhwada. Following this, President Murmu will attend the Safai Mitra Sammelan and Bhoomi Pujan for the new road. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will give the welcome address, and the President will distribute certificates to the Safai Mitras.
After the event, President Murmu will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the Ujjain-Indore Six Lane Road virtually. She will then head to the Mahakaleshwar Temple, where she will be greeted with traditional recitations and conch sounds at the Nandi gate. Inside the temple, she will worship Jyotirlinga Lord Mahakaleshwar and perform the Jalabhishek ritual. The Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee will welcome her with a shawl, coconut, memento, and prasad. The President will also participate in Shramdaan (volunteer work) under the Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada. Afterward, she will visit Koti Tirtha for a group photo.
Later, President Murmu will tour Mahakal Mahalok and meet the sculptors working on the idol at Triveni Sabha Mandapam. In the afternoon, she will travel from Ujjain to Indore. After arriving in Indore, she will attend a convocation ceremony at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. In the evening, President Murmu will return to New Delhi on a special flight from Indore Airport.
