Police recover narcotics worth Rs 65 crore, two arrested
Kashmir, June 27 (HS) Police have recovered narcotics worth Rs 65 crore from two persons and arrested them, in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Police team had earlier this month seized narcotics and cash from the residential premises of a Handwara man in Bemina area of Srinagar city. Police had recovered 21 kg heroin worth Rs 100 crore and 1.34 crore Indian currency and arrested main accused Iftikhar Andrabi.
SSP Kupwara, Ram Ambedkar said they are going to address a press conference today and all the details will be shared with the media. He added that some arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the possession of these two arrested persone.
