Police arrests terrorist associate; incriminating materials recovered at Awantipora
Jammu, March 1(HS): Jammu and Kashmir Police in Awantipora have arrested a terrorist associate of proscribed terror outfit JeM and recovered incriminating materials from his possession. Based on specific information regarding presence of terrorists of proscribed terror outfit JeM in village Larow Jagir Tral, Police along with 42RR and 180 Battalion CRPF launched a search operation in the area. During search one terrorist associate of proscribed terror outfit JeM identified as Muzamil Qadir Bhat resident of Larow Jagir Tral was arrested. Incriminating material of proscribed terror outfit JeM has been recovered from his possession.
On his discloser, one hand grenade was also recovered which he had concealed in the compound of his home. Preliminary investigation reveals that the arrested terror associate was in contact with terrorist commanders of JeM in Tral and across the country. All the recovered materials have been taken into case records for further investigation. Accordingly, a case FIR No 13/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Tral and further investigation has been initiated.
