PM to kick off 38th National Games in Dehradun today!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 38th National Games at Maharana Pratap Stadium in Dehradun today. The event will see Union Ministers, Indian Olympic Association members, and national players among the guests. Authorities have ensured tight security arrangements in Dehradun for the Prime Minister’s visit.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the final preparations at the stadium last night. He instructed officials to ensure a grand welcome for the players arriving in Uttarakhand. The state is fully prepared to host the prestigious event.

The National Games will run until February 14. They will take place across 11 cities in 8 districts of the state. Organizers have scheduled 47 events across 35 sports. The arrival of players and guests from across the country is in full swing, setting the stage for a vibrant start to the games.
