PM Modi to attend Veer Bal Diwas in Delhi today, launch Suposhit Panchayat Abhiyan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ program at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi today at 12 noon. The event honors Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, marking their bravery and sacrifice.
On this occasion, PM Modi will launch the Suposhit Panchayat Abhiyan, aimed at improving nutrition and welfare through stronger implementation of related services and active community participation.
The ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ serves as a nationwide program to honor children, who are seen as the country’s future. PM Modi will address the attendees and launch several initiatives to engage the youth, raise awareness, and foster a culture of courage and dedication.
Interactive quizzes and online competitions will be held through the MyGov and My Bharat portals. Schools, child care institutions, and Anganwadi centers will organize storytelling, creative writing, and poster competitions.
The event will also celebrate the PM’s National Bal Puraskar awardees. Additionally, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has paid tribute to the martyrdom of Veer Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh on its official X handle.
The program highlights the importance of honoring these young martyrs and inspires future generations to embody courage and patriotism.
