Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the all-India conference of Director Generals of Police (DGPs) and Inspector Generals of Police (IGPs) in Bhubaneswar. The event marks the start of his three-day visit to Odisha. This annual gathering serves as a crucial platform for senior police and security officials to discuss strategies for strengthening India’s security framework.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and other senior officers will also join the conference. Together, they aim to address pressing national security challenges and enhance coordination between agencies. Topics such as counter-terrorism, cybercrime, and border security are likely to dominate the agenda.

In addition to the security discussions, PM Modi will launch another significant project. He will inaugurate the construction of India’s largest green hydrogen hub in Visakhapatnam. The hub will use solar and wind energy to produce green hydrogen, aligning with India’s commitment to sustainability. This initiative is a key step towards reducing carbon emissions and achieving net-zero goals.

By combining a focus on national security and sustainable energy, PM Modi’s visit underscores his government’s forward-looking policies. The conference in Bhubaneswar showcases India’s dedication to addressing security concerns through collaboration and innovation. Simultaneously, the green hydrogen project highlights the country’s efforts to lead in clean energy solutions.

This visit reaffirms the government’s proactive approach to ensuring safety while promoting environmental responsibility. It represents a balanced vision for India’s progress on multiple fronts.
