PM Modi lauds tribals on ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’ slams Congress over Swachh Bharat
During his visit to Jamui on Friday, PM Narendra Modi celebrated ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’ by praising the tribal community for their contributions, especially to the Swachh Bharat Mission. He also criticized Congress for decades of neglecting tribal development after Independence, drawing a clear contrast between past and present governance.
PM Modi outlined initiatives launched by his government for tribal welfare. He highlighted the creation of a separate ministry and the Rs 24,000 crore JanMan Yojana. Additionally, he announced an ambitious plan—the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyaan—to invest Rs 80,000 crore in developing 60,000 tribal villages and training tribal youths.
The audience cheered as PM Modi reaffirmed his government’s commitment to uplifting tribal communities, ensuring their development remains a top priority.
