PM Modi inaugurates ₹12,200 Cr projects in Delhi, Ghaziabad
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and launch development projects worth over ₹12,200 crore today in the National Capital Region. These initiatives focus on rail, metro, and health infrastructure, boosting regional connectivity and urban development.
At 12:15 pm, PM Modi will travel on the Namo Bharat train from Sahibabad RRTS station in Ghaziabad to New Ashok Nagar RRTS station in Delhi. This ride will mark the inauguration of a 13-km stretch of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor. Built at ₹4,600 crore, the corridor enhances connectivity and eases travel between Delhi and Meerut.
Later, PM Modi will dedicate the first stretch of Delhi Metro Phase-4, a 2.8-km segment between Janakpuri and Krishna Park. Developed at ₹1,200 crore, this stretch benefits areas in West Delhi, including Krishna Park and Vikaspuri.
Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for the Rithala-Kundli Metro section. This 26.5-km corridor, costing ₹6,230 crore, links Delhi to Haryana, improving connectivity for areas like Rohini, Bawana, and Narela.
In healthcare, PM Modi will launch the construction of a modern facility for the Central Ayurveda Research Institute in Rohini. This ₹185 crore project includes OPD, IPD, and advanced treatment blocks, offering integrated care and research opportunities.
Following these inaugurations, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting in Rohini at 1 pm. His visit underscores a strong focus on regional connectivity, urban development, and public welfare.
