PM inaugurates hi-tech hospital in Bhuj

New Delhi, 15th April (H.S.)| Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday, virtually inaugurated K K Patel Super Speciality in Bhuj, Gujarat.

During the inauguration, Modi said, lakhs and crores of rupees were being saved every year in the treatment for the poor and middle class families due to Ayushman Bharat and Jan Aushadhi Yojana.

He said that Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission would increase the facilities of the patients.

The hospital will provide good quality healthcare at affordable cost to the people of Bhuj.

PM congratulated the people of Kutch and Gujarat for such a big program related to health. He said, this 200-bed super specialty hospital was going to provide affordable and best treatment to lakhs of people.

The hospital would provide best treatment to “our soldiers, families of paramilitary forces and also to many people in the business world”.

Prime Minister said, several super specialty hospitals were being constructed in the country along with dozens of All India Institute of Medical Sciences. “Whether it is the goal of building medical colleges in every district of the country or efforts to make medical education accessible to all, the country is going to get a record number of new doctors in the coming 10 years.”

When a poor person gets access to cheap and best treatment, his trust in the system is strengthened.

Prime Minister said that Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission would increase the facilities for the patients. Modern and critical healthcare infrastructure was being extended to the district and block level through the Ayushman Health Infrastructure Mission.

Recalling the Bhuj earthquake and the devastation caused by it, Modi said that the people of Bhuj and Kutch were now writing a new fortune for the region with their hard work.
