PM condoles deaths in Virar Hospital fire, announces ex-gratia
New Delhi, 23 April (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled deaths caused due to fire in COVID-19 hospital in Virar. He wished early recovery for the injured. The Prime Minister approved an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to the hospital fire in Virar, Maharashtra. Besides, Rs. 50,000 would be given to those seriously injured.
In a tweet from his official twitter handle, “The fire at a Covid-19 hospital in Virar is tragic. Condolences to those who lost their loved ones. May the injured recover soon: PM @narendramodi.”
In another tweet, PMO further said, “PM @narendramodi has approved an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to the hospital fire in Virar, Maharashtra. Rs. 50,000 would be given to those seriously injured.”
