Plane with 100 people on board crashes in Kazakhstan, Killed 14

Almighty , Dec 27 (HS): A plane carrying 100 people has crashed near Almaty airport, in Kazakhstan, killing at least 14 people. The plane collided with a two-storey building shortly after takeoff here. There were a total of 100 people in this aircraft. 14 people have died in this accident, while more than 35 people are seriously injured.

Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Committee said in a statement the aircraft “lost altitude during takeoff and broke through a concrete fence” before hitting a small building.The committee said 14 people were killed and more than 35 injured.

“Those responsible will face tough punishment in accordance with the law,” Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev tweeted, expressing condolences to the victims and their families.

Emergency services have been sent to the crash site. This aircraft had 95 passengers and 5 crew members. The aircraft belonged to the Beck Air Company. 9 people have died in this accident. At the same time, 9 people are injured. It also includes 6 children.

According to the information, the plane was flying very low at the time of the incident. Due to which the plane collided with the two-storey building and crashed. Many local citizens were also injured due to this accident.
