Perform Yagya to control CORONA & other virus borne diseases : Shankaracharya
Prayagraj, 26 February (HS) : Goverdhan Puri Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Adhokashajanand Dev Tirth is of the view that CORONA and other virus borne diseases can be controlled by performing Yagya. A series of Yagyas being performed in his Magh Mela located camp concluded here on the auspicious occasion of Maghi Purnima on Saturday.
During the closing of the rituals Jagadguru Shankaracharya said that the Yagya is the purifier of atmosphere and the materials used in this ritual are capable to destroy virus.
He further said that the Yagya when performrd amids chanting of Vedic Mantras, it energies the divine power which in turns gives blessings to the human being.
In the Magh Mela camp of Shankaracharya Dev Tirth Yagya is being performed regularly. Keeping in mind to make the world free from COVID-19 Jagadguru Shankaracharya has been performing Yagya in his Ashram located at Goverdhan in Mathura district too for the last several months. Representative of Assam Government Kishore Jayant Madhav and devotees from different part of the country participated in the Yagya performed in the mela area here.
A number of Vedic scholars led by the Chief Math Purohit of Gorakhnath Mandir Vedacharya Ramanuj Tripathi performed the closing rituals of the Yagya in the mela area. Abhishek of Bhagwan Chandramauleshwar and special puja of Rajrajeshwari Tripursundari was also organised on the occasion.
