Pakistan offers scholarships to 3000 Afghan students
Islamabad, Jun. 29 (HS): Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission (HEC) has offered scholarships to nearly 3,000 Afghan students under the four-year program.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, has announced that scholarship will be offered in phases and students of various categories will be beneficiaries of the program every year.
Awan said that the Afghan students, who are capable and passion to pursue their academic career, we will invited them to receive higher education in various institutions of Pakistan in different areas including medical, engineering, agriculture and management and computer science.
It was announced after Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani completed the two-day visit to Pakistan on Friday.
