Pak army targeted forward posts in poonch, Few houses damaged in Pak shelling.

Poonch, Jan 29 (HS):  After lull of a day, the Pakistan army once again violates the ceasefire in the Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district.

Locals said Pakistani Army resorted to heavy mortar shelling and small arms firing targeting forward posts and villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector of  Poonch district resulting minor damage to few houses in the area.

Army said Pakistan violated ceasefire by resorting to heavy mortar shelling and firing along the LoC in Krishna Ghati sectors of Poonch district.

Defense PRO Col. Devinder Anand said this afternoon Pak initiated a ceasefire  violation by firing of small arms & shelling with mortars in Krishna Ghati sector of district Poonch (J&K). Indian Army is retaliating befittingly. He added that the exchange of fire continued when the reports last came in.
