Oman’s Sultan Qaboos Bin Said passes away.
Doha, Jan 11 (HS): Sultan of Oman Qaboos Bin Said Al Said, who was heading the country since 1970, died at the age of 79, late on Friday night. The sultan’s office said that the leader passed away after a long illness. He died after a long illness. He breathed his last on Saturday. He has been the longest ruling Sultan in the entire Arab world. He ruled Oman for nearly 50 years. During his reign, he developed Oman as a modern country. Oman made tremendous progress under his rule. Therefore,Qaboos bin Saeed is called the creator of Modern Oman.
Qaboos bin Saeed left the world but he left a suspense for the whole world. The people of Oman are also under suspense amid a wave of mourning over the death of their Sultan. The reason for the suspense is the envelope which Qaboos bin Saeed has left before his death. The fate of Oman is sealed in the same envelope. Now the people of Oman are waiting to know the future of Oman if they open the envelope.
He was married but had no children. Long before his death, questions were being raised about his successor. The Sultan did not announce his successor till the last moment.
Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed was suffering from cancer. He went to Europe and got his treatment, but he could not fight the dreadful disease like cancer. He knew that death was very close to him, but still he did not announce the name of his successor to the country. He has left the envelope in the name of the success.
