Number of corona patients in the country increases to 148, Maharashtra’ tops in cases of carona
New Delhi, Mar 18 (HS): Coronavirus cases are rapidly growing across the country. On Wednesday morning, the number of infected patient s increased to 148. Three people have died by this virus, while 13 people have recovered and were discharged. . 24 foreign nationals are among those infected. Governments are working at three levels to deal with the coronavirus. In most states, schools colleges, offices and tourist places are shut.
The worse is from state of Maharashtra. .42 people have been found corona infected. Also one in Andhra Pradesh, 10 in Delhi, 16 in Haryana, 11 in Karnataka, 27 in Kerala, one in Punjab, 4 in Rajasthan, one in Tamil Nadu, 5 in Telangana, 3 in Jammu and Kashmir, 8 in Ladakh. 16 cases have been reported in the north state, one in Uttarakhand, one in Odisha and one in West Bengal.
The impact of virus is being felt on religious places too. The fear of virus has kept the devotees at bay and famous temples of North and South India have either closed their doors or the devotees are being denied to visit the Lord.
The Indian government issued advisories and even in UP, the Yogi government is making every possible effort to deal with Corona. Many religious places of the state have also been closed from Kashi Vishwanath temple to Buddha temple.
Meanwhile, the death toll due to the Corona outbreak in China has increased to 3,237, while the number of confirmed cases has increased to 80,894 in the Asian country. On Tuesday, 21 new suspected cases were reported in China. After recovering, a total of 922 people were discharged from the hospital, while the number of serious cases fell by 208 to 2,622.
