Now, Delhi Colder than Kullu, Solan, Dehradun, temp reaches 8 degrees .

New Delhi, Dec 17 (HS): Snowfall has over in most places in the mountains, but the hills from Kashmir to Kedarnath are covered with snow. In Kedarnath, the city of Baba Kedar, there is a wonderful view of nature.  Snow up to seven feet is being reported here. There is snow all around in Kedar Dham. The Nandi statue in front of the temple is also completely covered with snow. The temperature in Kedarnath has reached minus ten degrees. Cold wave continues in most parts of North India.

Now the temperature of Delhi recorded 8 degrees. Monday was the coldest day as the maximum temperature settled at 12.9 degrees Celsius. The capital was also colder than many other hilly areas of North India, such as Dehradun, Kullu, and Solan. People are using started bonfire to protect themselves from cold. The cold air coming from the mountains has also rid Delhi of pollution.

Director of Meteorological Center Manmohan Singh said, Shimla received 7.3 cm of snow during the last 24 hours. The city received snow for the third consecutive day on Monday.  Manali was with a minus 4.8 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Kufri was recorded at minus 1.2 degrees Celsius.

He said Keylong, the administrative center of Lahaul-Spiti in the state, recorded minus 14.9 degrees Celsius. Popular tourist destinations in Himachal like Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 0.8 ° C, 1 ° C in Chamba, 1.2 ° C in Solan and 1.5 ° C in Dalhousie. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 21 degrees Celsius in Bilaspur.

The Meteorological Department has predicted forecast rain and snowfall in the state from 19 to 21 December. According to meteorologists, Leh in Ladakh recorded a minimum temperature of minus 16.7 degrees. He said that the snowfall in Srinagar last week has brought down the temperature in the region. Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 5.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of minus 1.6 degrees Celsius. The famous ski resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of minus 10.2 degrees Celsius, the coldest in Kashmir.
