Noida school shuts amid Coronavirus fear, all exams cancelled

Noida, Mar 03(HS): Coronavirus has made its mark in  Noida, Uttar Pradesh. A resident suspected to have been found affected by the corona virus. Before admission into hospital he is believed go have hosted a birthday party of his child and many of classmates attended the party who has thus been quarantined. The parents of quarantined children staged a protest which led to closure of school and rescheduling of all examinations.

Earlier, yesterday, two positive cases of Coronavirus were on Monday detected in India. While the first case has been reported from Delhi and the second is from Telangana.

The Chief Medical Officers (CMO) of Noida and Gautam Budh Nagar have issued a notice to various companies amid coronavirus fear in Noida on Tuesday. The CMO has asked the people returning to India from abroad to report to the Health Ministry first.. It has also issued a notice to people who are coming back to India from 13 other countries including China, Iran, and Singapur to go for a screen-test.

China reported 125 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, marking the lowest number of new daily infections in six weeks. There were also 31 more deaths, all in Hubei province, the epicenter of the outbreak, raising the nationwide toll to 2,943.
