No threat to Indian Muslims in CAA- Sayed Ahmed Bukhari
New Delhi, Dec 18 (HS): The Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Syed Ahmed Bukhari has today clears the Muslim community of the country that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) does not affect the Indian Muslims at all. He, therefore, appealed to the Muslims to maintain peace and harmony in the country.
“CAA does not affect the Muslims of the country,” said Bukhari. He said people should control their emotions and should avoid violence.
Bukhari cleared the confusion in CAA and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) saying that the two are different things. He said that although protesting was a democratic right but it should be done wisely, not under the influence of some politicians who were doing it for their vested interests.
