Nirbhaya case: Patiala court seeks status report of convicts from Tihar
New Delhi , Nov 28 (HS): Patiala House Court has issued a notice to Tihar Jail in the Nirbhaya rape case. The court has sought a status report on the petition seeking to fix the date of the hanging of the four convicts. The petition filed by Nirbhaya’s parents claimed that mercy petition or curative petition of none of the four convicts is pending in the Supreme Court. On behalf of the defense, it was said that one has made a curative petition. Two people are going to file in this case. The court said that Tihar should clear the situation by tomorrow.
