Delhi/Chennai, Oct.31 (HS): National Investigation Agency (NIA) is raiding some locations in Koyambtur in Tamilnadu in relation to a tip off from security agencies that alerted the authorities about attacks against leaders of Hindu organizations. A source with NIA informs this early morning today.
Actually, NIA team is raiding the houses of one Sameer and Sauredin.
Sources further added that several Tamilnadu leaders belonging to Hindu organizations were on terrorist radar. Suspects were, reportedly, were conspiring for massive attack. They are residents of Ukkadam and GM Nagar so NIA teams are raiding these locations.
However, another NIA source informed that there are raids are being conducted at three locations. Two in Coimbatore and one in Nagoor’s Ajmal Mohammad residence. This raid is related to case of conspiracy to kill Hindu Makkal Katchi leader Arjun Sampath & his son Omkar.
Earlier in July, central intelligence were alerted the local police. In relation to this case of conspiracy five youngsters were arrested during last September, it may be noted.
