Wellington , June 18 (HS) : A Christchurch businessman named  Filip Arps (44) who shared a Christchurch Mosque in New Zealand, was sentenced to 21 months in prison on Tuesday.He was found guilty of two charges of distributing objectionable material. The assailant had live streaming of firing on two mosques on March 15, which was later shared by Philippe.
Judge Stephen O’Driscoll said that when questioned about the video, Arps had described it as “awesome” and showed no empathy toward the victims. The judge said Arps had strong and unrepentant views about the Muslim community, and had compared himself to Rudolf Hess, a Nazi leader under Adolf Hitler.
