Nayab Singh Saini to Lead Haryana as BJP’s New CM: Swearing-In Ceremony Awaits
Nayab Singh Saini, 54, will be sworn in as Haryana’s new chief minister on Thursday. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. and will feature Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other senior BJP leaders. After his unanimous election as leader of the BJP legislature party, Saini met Governor Bandaru Dattatreya to stake his claim to form the government. The swearing-in will take place in Panchkula under tight security.
PM Modi, Union ministers, and chief ministers from BJP-ruled states will attend, along with NDA partners, opposition leaders, and representatives of farmers and social organizations. Governor Dattatreya will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Saini.
The event holds added significance as it coincides with Valmiki Jayanti, marking an important day for the people of Haryana.
Mohan Lal Badoli, BJP’s newly elected chief of Haryana, confirmed the invitation list, highlighting the party’s outreach across political and social sectors.
