National Hydrogen Mission to make India global hub of green hydrogen
New Delhi, 15 August (H.S): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday announced from the ramparts of Red Fort, setting up of a National Hydrogen Mission to make India the new global hub of Green Hydrogen.
In his address on the 75th anniversary of Independence, PM Modi said that to be self reliant, it is necessary for the country to be independent in the field of energy. That is why today India has to take a resolution that we will make India independent in the energy sector before 100 years of independence.
He said, ?Whatever India is doing today, the biggest goal that is going to give India a quantum jump is the green hydrogen sector. Today I declare National Hydrogen Mission by swearing Tricolor.?
