Nankana Sahib: Corona test for pilgrims visiting Pakistan begins
Amritsar, February 15 (H S) : A Corona screening camp was organized by the Health Department at the office of the Shiromani Committee (SGPC) today for the Sikh pilgrims of the ‘Jatha’ to be sent during the celebrations being held in Pakistan on the occasion of the first centenary of the martyrdom of Sri Nankana Sahib.
An official of the Travel Department said that the group would leave for Pakistan on February 18 and return on February 25 after attending the centenary celebrations and visiting shrines. He said that it was necessary to conduct a Corona test 72 hours before departure to Pakistan, on the orders of President Bibi Jagir Kaur a Corona test camp has been set up for the pilgrims accompanying the ‘jatha’ which would continue till tomorrow.
