Nagaland Chief Minister goes into self-quarantine
Dimapur, July 16(HS): Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio has informed on Thursday that he is on self-quarantine as a precautionary measure folowing his return from New Delhi.
Rio in his tweet said, “As a precautionary measure, I’m on self-quarantine on my return to Nagaland from Delhi. Taking precautions to ensure safety of others & myself”.
Chief minister, however, informed that he would “continue discharging duties” during the quarantine period.
His appeal to the people said, “Please follow official advisories/guidelines, wear mask, maintain social distancing & observe hygiene”.
Rio was in Delhi from July 14. He met Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, among others, on July 15. Rio returned today by a chartered flight.
