MLC assures to open a Degree college at Gopalganj
Chapra/Gopalganj, Jun.25 (HS): JDU MLC Virendra Narayan Yadav today inaugurating a hand pump on the premises of Paras Dubey high school at Majhwaliya village under Vijayeepur police station assured to open a Degree college after talking with chief minister and education minister.
He stressed the need for preservation of water and urged educated people to come forward to supervise the work being done by the government. He said that it is the responsibility of educated and civilized class to ensure that public works are done with honesty and purity.
He said that in coming years the world would be facing water crisis and in future there would be war for water. He underlined his efforts to enlist Bhojpuri language in the eighth schedule of the constitution and said that writings of Bhikhari Thakur has been accumulated and progress to enlist and preserve the creations of Mahendra Mishra is on.
He said that chief minister Nitish Kumar has extended great honour to women and no body can match his this feat. Retired teacher Ashok Kumar Singh, Dhanoj Pandey, Paras Nath Yadav, Jitendra Verma, and others were also present on this occasion.
