Minister’s tweet with photo in swimming pool: Congress demands resignation
Bengaluru,13 April(HS): Dr K Sudhakar, state Medical Education Minister is under a cloud for embroiling himself in a volunteered controversy by tweeting a photo of swimming with his three children in a swimming pool.
Now this tweet itself and the posted snap has transformed into a political issue demanding his resignation by DK Shivakumar, President, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee(KPCC).
DK Shivakumar has sarcastically mentioned that the Chief Minister should not ask for the minister’s resignation nor the Governor should sack him. But K Sudhakar himself should voluntarily come forward and put his papers, he added.
The KPCC president pointed out when the whole world is struggling to combat the Coronavirus menace threatening the very existence of humankind, Dr K Sudhakar who also holds the responsibility of tackling the same in the state is having a fun time.
He clarified: There is no politics in his statement since the world is also watching how the state and Bengaluru city are facing the challenge prompted by Covid-19.
